One Injured, Minor Killed in Truck Accident in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte, NC — February 28, 2023, a driver was injured and a minor-aged passenger was killed in a truck accident around 5:50 p.m. on I-485 in Charlotte.

Authorities report a van rear-ended a semi-truck at exit 10B, then crossed multiple lanes of traffic, and collided with a pickup truck.

The minor passenger suffered fatal injuries in the crash, and the van driver was transported to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The crash is still under investigation, and there are no further updates at this time.
