One Injured in Multi-Commercial Truck Accident in Winnie, TX

Winnie, TX — March 5, 2023, one person was injured in a collision between two semi-trucks around 8 a.m. on I-10 in Winnie.

Crash investigators report two semi-trucks were headed eastbound on I-10, near mile marker 819, when one semi-truck rear-ended the other. One of the truck drivers was flown by helicopter to a hospital for purportedly serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, and the identity of the injured individual has not been released.
