Aurelio Zapata-Camarillo Injured in Truck Accident in Bexar County, TX

Bexar County, TX — February 21, 2023, Aurelio Zapata-Camarillo was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 7:30 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 87 in Bexar County.

Crash investigators report Aurelio Zapata-Camarillo's Ford Ranger was headed westbound on U.S. Hwy. 87 when a Volvo semi-truck pulled into the Ford Ranger's traffic lane. The Volvo's trailer reportedly disconnected from the semi-truck during the turn and blocked all lanes of traffic. Aurelio Zapata-Camarillo's Ford Ranger reportedly then collided with the disconnected trailer.

Aurelio Zapata-Camarillo purportedly suffered serious injuries and the semi-truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
