Victor Monjaraz Jr. Injured in Alleged Drunk Driving Accident in McAllen, TX

McAllen, TX — February 1, 2023, Victor Monjaraz Jr. was injured in an alleged drunk driving accident around 1:40 a.m. on W. Nolana Ave, in McAllen.

Crash investigators report Victor Monjaraz Jr.'s Toyota 4Runner was sitting at a red light behind a Buick LaCrosse when a Dodge Ram 3500 allegedly rear-ended Victor Monjaraz Jr.'s truck forcing it to also rear-end the LaCrosse.

The Dodge Ram 3500 driver was charged with Driving Without a License and Driving While Intoxicated, and officials are reportedly waiting for the results of the driver's toxicology blood draw.

Authorities report Victor Monjaraz Jr. suffered incapacitating injuries, the driver of the Doge Ram 3500 suffered minor injuries and the driver of the LaCrosse was uninjured.
