Jessica and Calvin Wallet Killed in Truck Accident in Limon, CO

Limon, CO — February 16, 2023, Jessica and Calvin Wallet were killed in a truck accident around 7:22 a.m. on Interstate 70 near Limon.

Authorities allege Jessica and Calvin Wallet's Toyota Rav4 was traveling westbound on I-70 behind a Freightliner semi-truck when it collided with the rear of the Freightliner's trailer.

Calvin Wallet was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Jessica Calvin was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash. An 8-month-old, in a child-restraint seat, reportedly suffered minor injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was reportedly uninjured.

Authorities report that both Jessica and Calvin Wallet were wearing seatbelts and that "no excessive speed is suspected in the crash."
