One Killed in Truck Accident in Contra Costa County, CA

Contra Costa County, CA — February 27, 2023, one person was killed in a truck accident around 4:19 a.m. on Vasco Road in Contra Costa County.

Authorities report a Ford Fusion was headed southbound while a tractor-trailer was driving northbound on Vasco Rd when the two vehicles collided head-on.

The Fusion driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. There are no other injuries reported, and the identities of the two drivers have not been released.
