Investigators said that the incident happened at around 7:25 a.m. along Highway 4. Beyond that, there is little information surrounding the accident. Frankly, I always worry that's because authorities may not be giving the crash the attention it deserves. I too often see people assume the truck driver did something wrong when there are many factors that could have been beyond his control. Mechanical issues, a cargo shift, poor road maintenance, a tire blowout, you name it.

Without a proper investigations , something important could easily slip through the cracks. That's why I hope the authorities here are among the more careful and thorough investigators rather than some departments I've had to deal with who simply didn't have the tools or experience to get the victims' loved ones the answers they deserved.
