One Killed, Two Injured in Truck Accident in Jacksonville, FL

Jacksonville, FL — March 2, 2023, one person was killed and two people were injured in a crash early Thursday morning on I-95 northbound in Jacksonville.

Authorities report a semi-truck was merging from the right shoulder back into a lane of traffic on I-95, near Race Track Road, when a box truck allegedly rear-ended it.

The front seat passenger of the box truck suffered fatal injuries. Both truck drivers were transported to a local hospital, the box truck driver for serious injuries and the semi-truck driver for minor injuries.
