Authorities will need to be thorough in looking into what happened here before anyone starts jumping to conclusions. It may seem obvious to say that, but I see people make assumptions after crashes like this all the time.

I've seen plenty of situations where a driver loses control due to something unusual like mechanical issues, a medical emergency, road hazards, a defect, or even poor road maintenance. Yet people tend to see a teenage driver and immediately assume they did something wrong. Is that possible? Of course, but what good does it do a grieving family—especially when those people don't even know what actually happened?

Instead of trying to blame someone, I do my best to remind people that families out there lost their kid. They shouldn't have to see unnecessary comments from members of the public who just want to be the smartest person in the room. It's best to let investigators do their jobs so the evidence can simply speak for itself.
