Armando Arancibia Injured in Car Accident in Arlington, TX

Arlington, TX — February 12, 2023, Armando Arancibia was injured in a car accident around 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 30 in Arlington.

Authorities report prior to the crash, Armando Arancibia's Hyundai Accent was disabled on the right shoulder of I-30 facing westbound. The crash purportedly occurred when an Audi Q3 rear-ended a Ford Focus parked behind the Accent as Armando Arancibia exited the front passenger side and began walking to the Accent.

The impact of the crash allegedly pushed the Ford Focus into Armando Arancibia and then into a concrete barrier. The Audi Q3 also reportedly continued forward and rotated clockwise until the vehicle was facing eastbound.

Officials state Armando Arancibia suffered serious, incapacitating injuries, the driver of the Focus has possible injuries, and the driver of the Audi Q3 was uninjured.

Officials charged the driver of the Audi Q3 with Driving Under the Influence.
