Jose Sanchez Injured and Other Killed in Car Accident in Collin County, TX

Collin County, TX — February 12, 2023, Jose Sanchez was injured and another driver was killed in a car accident around 10 a.m. on Hwy. 78 in Collin County.

Officials report that a Hyundai Sonata was traveling southbound on Hwy. 78 while Jose Sanchez's Dodge Ram 2500 was heading northbound. The Sonata allegedly crossed over the painted media and the two vehicles collided head-on. The force of the impact purportedly caused both vehicles to spin in opposite directions and the Dodge Ram rolled over.

The driver of the Sonata was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Jose Sanchez reportedly suffered serious injuries.

Authorities report that the weather was sunny and the road was clear, and they are waiting for the Sonata driver's toxicology report.
