Three Injured in Car Accident on Porter Avenue in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX -- February 28, 2023, three people were injured following an accident where a vehicle lost control on Porter and crashed.

Officials said that the crash happened late Tuesday along Porter Avenue off Alabama Street. Investigators said that the crash happened when a vehicle somehow lost control and crashed through a fence before then hitting a pole. As a result, three people were injured, two seriously. The cause of the crash remains unclear.

As many possible reasons as there are a driver can't possibly avoid, it's common to see people immediately assume drivers in these situations did something wrong. That's possible, but it's important folks consider what else can happen before they start jumping to conclusions.
