Marcus Fowler Killed in Car Accident in Amarillo, TX

Amarillo, TX — February 8, 2023, Marcus Fowler was killed in a car accident around 11 p.m. on S. Washington St. in Amarillo.

Officials report that Marcus Fowler had just exited a Mercedes-Benz, which was stopped in front of a residence, when a Ford F-150 allegedly rear-ended the Mercedes-Benz. The impact reportedly pushed the Mercedes-Benz forward, and the F-150 continued forward striking Marcus Fowler, a chain-link fence, and finally came to a stop in the front yard of another residence.

Marcus Fowler was transported before succumbing to sustained injuries.

The drivers of each vehicle are reportedly uninjured, and authorities are waiting for the F-150's driver's toxicology results.
