Monica Brock Killed in Car Accident in Longview, TX

Longview, TX -- February 22, 2023, Monica Brock was killed after an accident where her vehicle lost control and crashed.

Initial details about the crash say it happened off the corner of McCann Road and Judson Road at around 1:00 p.m. It appears that 43-year-old Monica Brock was in a car going northbound along the roadway when it somehow lost control. The vehicle then spun into southbound lanes where it crashed with an SUV.

Due to the crash, Brock sustained fatal injuries. It's unclear if anyone else was injured. Police have yet to release a cause for the crash. I can't help wondering if the lack of updates from authorities is a sign something unusual happened here.

All kinds of possibilities can lead to a crash like this, but a vehicle losing control so dramatically in the middle of the afternoon raises concerns there may have been something like a defect, a tire failure, or an emergency of some kind that led to the crash. Hopefully authorities here have enough time to consider these factors so they can ensure the victim's loved ones are getting clear answers.
