Teenager Injured in Car Accident on Highway 359 in Laredo, TX

Laredo, TX -- February 25, 2023, a teenager was injured after an accident where a vehicle crashed along Highway 359.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. along Highway 359 off Loop 20. The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. It appears a vehicle was going along the highway when it lost control and overturned. The driver, an unidentified 18-year-old, had serious injuries. No one else appeared to be involved.

There needs to be a lot more information than what I'm seeing here headed to the victim's loved ones so that they aren't left with any unanswered questions. I wish I could say with 100% confidence that will happen, but certain details make that a concern.

Of all the sorts of crashes that tend to draw a lot of hasty assumptions, single-vehicle wrecks and accidents involving teen drivers are high up on the list.
