Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident on Blanco Road in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- February 26, 2023, one person was injured following an accident where a motorcycle and a car crashed on Blanco Road.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 10:40 p.m. along Blanco Road at Loop 1604. Details say that a motorcycle was going along the road when it somehow collided with another vehicle. The crash apparently split the bike into two while ejecting the rider, who sustained serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is unclear, but some sources say the motorcycle was "possibly going at a high rate of speed." To be clear, I have no reason to doubt that, but I don't have any particular reason to believe the claim, either. Simply put, I've seen countless situations where people said a motorcyclist was speeding simply because they assume all motorcyclists are reckless drivers. Then, actual consideration into the evidence shows they weren't doing anything wrong at all. Maybe further investigations here would show something similar.
