Jeffery Martin Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX -- February 14, 2023, Jeffery Ray Martin was killed due to an accident where a vehicle struck him.

Investigators said that the incident happened after 10:00 p.m. in the area of Highway 183 and County Line Road. It appears that 53-year-old Jeffery Martin was walking at the time. In a series of events still under investigation, an eastbound vehicle struck Martin. This resulted in fatal injuries.

Police spoke to the driver, but additional details remain unclear. Hopefully there is more work being done behind the scenes by authorities or independent investigators. I too often see pedestrian accidents like this slip through the cracks because they can be seen as "low priority." I certainly don't agree with that, and I'm sure the victim's loved ones wouldn't agree with that, either. That's why they deserve to know steps are being taken to get them the answers they deserve.
