Driver Injured in Car Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX — August 8, 2022, the driver of a Toyota Camry was injured in a car accident around 10 p.m. on W. 1960 Rd. in Harris County.

Crash investigators report that a GMC Sierra was traveling eastbound on W. 1960 Rd. while a Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on W. 1960 Rd. The GMC Sierra allegedly failed to yield when attempting a left turn onto Hollister St. and turned into the path of the Toyota Camry.

The speed limit of the road is listed as 40 mph and the weather was reportedly clear and the roadway is reportedly well-lit.

Officials say that the Toyota Camry driver suffered serious injuries and the GMC Sierra driver was uninjured.
