One Killed in Motorcycle, Truck Accident on I-10 in Harrison County, MS

Harrison County, MS -- February 22, 2023, one person was killed following an accident between a motorcycle and a semi-truck on I-10.

Initial details about the crash say that it happened at around 2:30 p.m. in the area of Long Beach Road. Details are limited at this time, as they say only that one person died after a motorcycle and a truck collided along the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

It's unclear how that person was involved in the accident, but it's not often a motorcycle and a truck crash where the truck driver comes out with injuries at all, let alone fatal ones. It makes me wonder if authorities are really giving this crash the attention it deserves. Perhaps they're just being reserved in the early stages of the investigations and have every intention of getting the victim's loved ones the answers they deserve. But if they're just going to let this slip through the cracks, it unfortunately wouldn't be the first time.
