Tomas Garcia, Gedrine Guzman-Gutierrez, Teenager Injured in Car Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX -- October 23, 2022, Tomas Garcia, Gedrine Guzman-Gutierrez, and a teenager were injured after a car accident.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 6:50 a.m. along Alief Clodine Road near Eldridge Parkway. Details suggest that 33-year-old Gedrine Guzman-Gutierrez, Tomas Garcia, and a teenager were in a Lincoln Aviator traveling westbound along Alief Clodine. Somehow, the vehicle veered left, went onto the median, and crashed into a tree.

Due to the crash, Garcia and the teen passenger had incapacitating injuries. Guzman-Gutierrez was said to have non-incapacitating injuries. Right now, there isn't enough evidence to confirm what exactly caused this crash. At this time of the morning, single-vehicle wrecks can be rather complicated. It's not always as simple as someone just being tired or on their phone. Were there mechanical issues? A tire blowout? Some other driver that left the scene? Hopefully authorities were thorough in finding out what happened here so those involved know more than what little information is in these reports.
