John Gray Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- January 26, 2023, John Gray was killed following an accident where a vehicle struck him, then left the scene.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. along Shepherd Drive near Inwood Drive.

It appears that 71-year-old John Gray was on foot at the time along Shepherd Drive. In a series of events unclear, a vehicle struck Gray, resulting in fatal injuries. That vehicle then left the scene. It appears authorities have not identified that driver yet. But as long as the community keeps attention on these details, sparse as they may be, someone may yet come forward and help authorities identify the driver involved here. Then, steps can be taken to find out why they ran and ensure there are appropriate consequences. The victim's loved ones deserve no less than that.
