Pedestrian Killed in Truck Accident in Irving, TX

Irving, TX — December 31, 2022, a pedestrian crossing Loop 12 was struck and killed in a collision with a commercial truck around 7 a.m. in Irving.

Authorities report that a pedestrian was crossing the middle lane of Loop 12 when struck by a tractor-trailer.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and the semi-truck driver is reportedly uninjured.

There are no further details at this time.
