Daniel Salas Injured in Alleged Wrong Way Driving Accident in Bastrop, TX

Bastrop, TX — February 4, 2023, Daniel Salas and his passenger collided with an alleged wrong-way driver around 2 a.m. on Hwy. 21 in Bastrop.

Authorities report that Daniel Salas and a passenger were traveling eastbound on Hwy. 21 when struck by an alleged wrong-way driver which forced Daniel Salas's Lincoln town car to exit the roadway and strike a fence and a telephone pole.

Daniel Salas is reported to have suffered serious injuries and the passenger minor injuries.

Authorities report that the wrong-way driver fled the scene of the crash on foot.
