Gary Drum Killed, Beverly Drum, Jeffrey Berry Injured in Truck Accident in Paragould, AR

Initial details from Arkansas State Police say that 45-year-old Beverly Drum and 45-year-old Gary Drum were in a Dodge Ram traveling westbound along Highway 358. At the intersection, their vehicle and a southbound Kenworth truck collided.

Due to the collision, Gary Drum sustained fatal injuries. Beverly Drum and Berry were taken to the hospital. Right now, the crash remains under investigation.

This early on, I wouldn't at all expect to know the full story. Commercial truck wrecks are about as complex as it gets for many different reasons. The chaos of the crash scene, the companies involved, whether or not there were witnesses, mechanical issues, needing special equipment or training to look into certain factors, etc. I just hope Arkansas Police aren't so busy with other work that they let this one slip through the cracks before they can get the families involved the answers they need.
