Yalanda Young Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident in Lewisville, TX

Lewisville, TX — February 2, 2023, Yalanda Young and a pedestrian were injured in a multi-vehicle accident around 10:50 p.m. on SH 121 in Lewisville.

Authorities report that Yalanda Young's Nissan Altima clipped the back of a Nissan Rogue, and the Nissan Rogue spun out. After the impact with the Rogue, Yalanda Young's Nissan Altima allegedly entered the opposite lane of traffic and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry. Authorities also report that after the head-on impact, Yalanda Young's Altima was pinned between the Camry and a guardrail and caught fire.

Reportedly Yalanda Young was seriously injured and the other two drivers suffered no injuries. Additionally, a driver that reportedly had pulled over and begun walking over to the Nissan Rouge, suffered minor injuries.

Officials report icy conditions at the time of the crash.
