Four Injured in Hit-and-run Accident on West Mockingbird in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- February 20, 2023, four people were injured following an accident where a vehicle hit them on Mockingbird, then fled.

Investigators said that the incident happened early Monday in the area of West Mockingbird Lane and Brookriver Drive.

It appears that two vehicles collided and came to a stop. While the occupants of those vehicles were standing at the crash scene, it appears a Kia Soul crashed into them. That driver then apparently got out on foot and left the scene.

Four people were hurt due to the accident. No further information has been confirmed. But considering the driver left a vehicle at the scene, chances may be good they're going to find that person. Unless the vehicle is stolen, it's almost always a first step to identifying the suspect or someone who knows them.

Once that happens, they can be brought to answer for what happened. Were they drunk? High? Do they have warrants? Did they just panic and make a huge mistake? Even if we don't consider the potential consequences for those actions, the victims involved deserve some answers.
