Valerie Kuykenall and Two Others Injured in Bus Accident in Gillespie, TX

Gillespie, TX — January 28, 2023, Valerie Kuykenall and two bus occupants were injured in a commercial bus collision around 11 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 290 in Gillespie.

Officials report that Valerie Kuykenall was minorly injured in a collision with a charter bus where Jenschke Ln intersects with Hwy 290. Investigators allege that Valerie Kuykenall turned from Jenschke Ln. onto Hwy. 290 in front of the commercial bus.

Valerie Kuykenall was minorly injured, one bus passenger was seriously injured, and another bus passenger reportedly has possible injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
