Angel Daniel Ramirez Killed in Car Accident in Midland, TX

Midland, TX -- February 14, 2023, Angel Daniel Ramirez was killed after an accident where Ramirez's vehicle crashed in a construction zone.

Officials said that the accident happened at around 11:50 p.m. along North Midkiff Road off West Golf Course Road.

Investigators said that 23-year-old Angel Daniel Ramirez was in a vehicle traveling northbound along Midkiff. For reasons unclear, his vehicle crashed into a backhoe that was in a construction zone along southbound lanes.

Due to the collision, Ramirez succumbed to fatal injuries. No one else was said to be involved in the crash. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

Without more information, I hope no one would think of jumping to conclusions about what happened here. I often see that kind of behavior following single-vehicle wrecks despite the fact there are all kinds of reasons for this to happen without the victim doing anything wrong.
