Clifton Holman Killed in Shooting at Business in Lubbock, TX

Initial details say the incident happened in the area of 1300 35th Street at a business which authorities say was operating as an "illegal after hours club." In a series of events not made clear, an altercation occurred which led to 39-year-old Clifton Holman suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where his injuries ultimately proved fatal.

Details about the shooter or potential charges are unavailable at this time. There also is a lack of information surrounding the business supposedly operating after hours. Perhaps if that business is going to foster an environment where people's loved ones won't make it home, they should consider what their actions do their community and what steps can be taken to prevent anything like this happening again.
