Five Injured in Airplane, Shuttle Bus Accident at Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles, CA -- February 10, 2023, five people were injured due to an accident where an airliner and a shuttle bus crashed.

Initial details said that the crash happened at the Los Angeles International Airport between an American Airlines jet and an airport shuttle bus. Somehow, while the jet was being taxied, it collided with an airport shuttle bus. This sent the bus driver and three people said to be "airline team members" to area hospitals. One person on the aircraft had injuries but apparently declined medical transport.

Airplane, Shuttle Bus Accident Injures 5 at Los Angeles International Airport

Right now, no further information is available. It seems like headlines are making the news a lot in recent months. There was a harrowing flight with severe turbulence on one day, and airline worker was sucked into an engine on another, a whole airline set off a domino effect of delays, and now this.

Obviously, not all of these things are avoidable, not all are that serious, and I don't think any of them involve the same companies. But it's a chaotic and busy industry that can present unique challenges when it comes to investigating an accident. It's not always as simple as just waiting for federal agencies to look into things, especially when some of these events leave victims and families in need of help sooner rather than later.

Whatever happened here, I just hope authorities have been able to get to work immediately to ensure they get answers about what went wrong and how to prevent such events in the future.
