I certainly can't provide more information about this crash than what's already available to the public. But one concern I do have is the apparent disparity of outcomes here. It stands out to me that only one person appeared to be injured at all, let alone killed. While this crash at least wasn't worse than it already is, that can sometimes be a sign something unusual went wrong which led to the victim dying in what could have otherwise been a survivable accident.

Did the victim's seatbelt work properly? Did their airbag go off? Did they collide with the other vehicles, or were they forced off-road? Was their vehicle designed to reasonably withstand a motor vehicle collision? Perhaps details to come will paint a perfectly reasonable picture of what led to this person losing their life, but I hope authorities don't simply write this all off as nothing out of the ordinary when there's a family out there in need of answers.
