One Killed, One Injured in 18-wheeler Accident on Central Expressway in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- February 11, 2023, one person was killed and one person was injured after an accident where a semi-truck and an SUV crashed.

Preliminary investigations say that the crash took place at around 1:30 a.m. along Central Expressway in the area of Lovers Lane. The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time. It appears a semi-truck and an SUV collided, resulting in one person suffering fatal injuries. One other person had serious injuries. No further information is available at this time.

Since there isn't much information available about this crash, one can only hope authorities are working hard behind the scenes to get the victims and families the answers they deserve. It would surprise people to see how often authorities weren't provided enough time or equipment to properly investigate a deadly truck wreck. Considering how complex they can be, that only leads to important details slip through the cracks. I know there are talented and dedicated investigators in Dallas PD, so I hope they're the ones working to get some answers about what happened here.
