Jody Laws, Michael Kuhn Injured in Car Accident in Harris County, TX

Harris County, TX -- November 13, 2022, Jody Laws and Michael Kuhn were injured following an accident where their vehicle crashed on I-10.

Investigators said that the crash took place at around 1:37 p.m. along the Katy Freeway near Mason Road. It appears that 38-year-old Jody Laws and 44-year-old Michael Kuhn were in an Acura TSX traveling westbound along the Katy Freeway service road. For reasons not currently confirmed, the vehicle ran off the side of the road. There, it then crashed into a tree.

Laws had injuries described as incapacitating. Kuhn's injuries were apparently non-incapacitating. No further information can be given right now. I never saw much about this in the news, and I can only hope it was because folks didn't want to talk about the crash before all the facts were clear. Unfortunately, it's often simply because people don't give single-vehicle wrecks the attention they deserve.

There are all kinds of reasons this sort of thing can happen, and the victims and families involved deserve to know they're getting clear answers. More often than not, though, people just assume the driver did something wrong and move on. With this crash, it's not my business to say who or what caused the crash. What I know is that getting answers for a family in need is huge in their journey to get back to normal, and I can't help wondering if anyone is getting those answers here.
