Andrea Dominguez, Job Jasso Jr., 1 Injured in Car Accident in Howard County, TX

Howard County, TX -- January 21, 2023, Andrea Dominguez, Job Jasso Jr., and another person were injured after two vehicles collided.

Investigators said that the accident happened at around 1:00 a.m. along Highway 350. It appears that Andrea Dominguez and Job Jasso Jr. were both in Dodge Challenger which was northbound along the highway. Police believe that an oncoming vehicle crossed the center line, crashing into the Challenger.

Due to the crash, Dominguez was said to have incapacitating injuries. Jasso and the driver of the other vehicle were said to have non-incapacitating injuries. Police said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but this has yet to be confirmed.

I certainly don't have any information that isn't already public, but the possibility of alcohol is one that no doubt catches attention. Maybe it wasn't involved here, and police were simply speculating on a likely possibility until they had more of the facts. If it was involved, though, it wouldn't be too unusual at all. It's all too common at 1:00 a.m. since people are usually out drinking at a bar, and those bars will often illegally over-serve them so they go out and get people hurt.

My hope is authorities are being thorough enough to investigate the possibility of drunk driving and any complicit establishments while also being sure to consider other possibilities, likely and otherwise, so the victims involved here know they're getting all the facts.
