Brett Belfield Injured in Car Accident in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- January 26, 2023, Brett Belfield was injured due to an accident where two vehicles collided along the highway.

Investigators said they were called to the area just after 9:30 p.m. along the I-10 frontage road in the area of UTSA Boulevard.

It appears that 56-year-old Brett Belfield was in a Ford F-150 traveling northbound along the frontage road. For reasons not officially confirmed, the pickup and a Nissan Armada collided. This sent the pickup out of control where it then hit a guardrail.

Belfield had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. No other injuries were reported. Details surrounding the crash remain unconfirmed at this time.

When people see two vehicles collide, they often think it's just a matter of police looking into things and getting answers. Did they do so here? Well, if they did, there certainly doesn't appear to be much public information available to confirm that. It wouldn't be the first time authorities handled a situation without the news caring much, but it also wouldn't be the first time if further investigations showed police simply moved on without giving the crash the attention it deserved.

I certainly don't see specific information to suggest authorities are doing anything here beyond their absolute best, but I also don't consider any matter closed when all the information I have adds up to what little information is surrounding this crash right now.
