Marcelo Serrano, 3 Passengers Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Central Fwy in Wichita Falls, TX

Wichita Falls, TX — February 7, 2023, Marcelo Serrano and three other men were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Central Freeway in Wichita Falls.

Authorities say the incident happened around 11:40 p.m. on the 200 block of Central Freeway. The exact circumstances of the crash aren't clear, but responders found an Infiniti vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier with four men walking around it in what investigators called a "daze." The men identified Serrano as the driver who crashed into the barrier; officers conducted field sobriety tests and determined he may have been intoxicated. They also noted finding open alcohol containers in the car.

The injured men were taken to an area hospital, where blood samples were collected from Serrano for testing.

The investigation continues. No further information is currently available.
