Due to the crash, Canul ultimately succumbed to her injuries. Two other occupants had incapacitating injuries while a third had non-incapacitating injuries. The exact cause of the crash can't be confirmed with current public information.

This all certainly leaves a lot of questions, and I wonder if anyone in the community can help fill in those blanks. I don't have any expectation of getting information about something that doesn't have anything to do with me personally, but sometimes a lack of public details can mean that authorities aren't working to really give the crash the attention it deserves.

I've seen local media post about the beautiful family whose worlds were turned upside down because of this awful crash. It makes my heart sink to think there's even a chance they may have been left in the dark still searching for answers. Hopefully authorities felt the same and did or continue to do everything in their power to get them those answers.
