Due to the crash, Kelly had injuries thought to be incapacitating. Meadows Hill and an unidentified passenger had non-incapacitating injuries. Additional details about the crash can't be confirmed at this time.

I would like to think authorities know a whole lot more than what's available here given the time since the crash occurred. But it would surprise people to see some of the things authorities can overlook even with seemingly straight forward wrecks. I handled a situation not long ago where two drivers argued over who had the right-of-way, and the officer was pulled by his supervisors to handle other priorities. Fortunately, our team was able to find security footage from a nearby business that showed what happened and who ran the light. Our clients were shocked the police missed something like that, but it happens all too often.

I don't have any reason to doubt the efforts officers here, of course. I just hope the victims and families involved here got far clearer answers than the public has about what led to this crash.
