Juan Estorga, Santano Galindo Injured in Car Accident in El Paso, TX
El Paso, TX -- September 11, 2022, Juan Estorga and Santono Galindo were injured following an accident where their cars collided.
Investigators said that the incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. along Trowbridge at Gateway South.

Details suggest that 22-year-old Santano Galindo was in a southbound Toyota Camry and 73-year-old Juan Estorga was in a westbound Nissan Kicks. The cause of the crash isn't confirmed right now, and it appears authorities were only able to confirm in their preliminary investigations from an EMS responder that "it looked like" the Toyota had a red light. No other witness statements are included.
I would never rely solely on witness statements, of course, but not having any clear testimony can make things incredibly challenging. An emergency responder who wasn't there to see the crash isn't likely to tell the whole story, and I can't help wondering if authorities worked behind the scenes to get clearer information than what they've told the public.
Did they follow up with both drivers after the crash? Have they tried asking the public to come forward in case a witness left the scene before they arrived? Are there any nearby businesses with cameras that caught the crash on video? Without a clear understanding of what led to a crash, it's not easy to get any sort of closure.
