After the crash, Armentor was taken to a hospital for incapacitating injuries. Reports mentioned no one else involved in the crash.

Frankly, there aren't many traffic circles in Texas compared to some other places, so I always see accidents like this and wonder if they're as straight forward as some may think. The most recent images I can find of this traffic circle don't really show anything unusual, and there appear to be clear lines. But what would it look like at 1:00 a.m. Is there enough signage? Is there any lighting? Have lines faded over time? Do local officials neglect maintenance in this area?

The explanation surrounding this crash could very well have nothing to do with the condition of the intersection, but I think it's important to remind people that a proper investigations must consider possible factors they may not otherwise consider.
