6-year-old Boy Injured in School Bus Accident on Edinbrook Crossing North in Brooklyn Park, MN

It appears that a 6-year-old boy was dropped off by the bus just prior to the accident. Due to a series of events unclear, the bus ended up running over the child, causing injuries. The bus driver apparently left, unaware the incident happened, but was then located and spoke with officers.

It's obviously going to take more thorough investigations to find out why this happened. The parents who trust these bus drivers to safely transport their kids are no doubt demanding answers—rightfully so. Hopefully they are making their concerns heard loud and clear while also keeping in mind that accidents can't always be avoided. I wouldn't jump to blame anyone for anything, but if there's even a small chance that someone I'm trusting my kid's safety to is capable of getting them hurt, I'd want every step taken to find out for sure.
