Sherina Williams Injured in Car Accident in The Colony, TX

The Colony, TX -- January 8, 2023, Sherina Williams was injured due to an accident where her vehicle crashed along the roadway.

Officials said that the accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Paige Road and Colony Boulevard.

37-year-old Sherina Williams was said to be in a Chevy Malibu which was apparently pulling out of a parking space. The vehicle somehow went out of control, causing it to hop a curb and crash into a pole.

Williams sustained incapacitating injuries due to the crash. Beyond this, authorities have not confirmed additional details. That leaves a lot of room for speculation, which I do my best to discourage others from engaging in.

It would astound people how often I look into something where someone's vehicle had mechanical issues, a tire blew out, they had a medical emergency, or some other unavoidable factor caused a crash only for people in the public to just assume they were drunk or on their phone. That happens, obviously, but what good does it do looking for someone to blame? Shouldn't the focus be on getting whatever answers and help are available to the victims and families? I can only hope authorities in charge of this crash understand that and are giving those involved here the answers they deserve.
