Obviously any car wreck that takes a life is a serious one, but it appears authorities were on scene for quite some time—about two hours. That's often a sign that a crash was far more chaotic than normal. My experience with police investigations is that many of them are vital pieces of evidence, but they can still leave out crucial details victims and families need to know.

It's one of the reasons why independent accident reconstructionists typically end up involved after serious wrecks. They're equipped to handle more complex accident scenes that authorities may not be able to dedicate all of their time and effort to. That said, it's possible Round Rock Police are hard at work behind the scenes to get answers for those affected by the crash. Hopefully the end result is that the victims and families get satisfactory answers and some sense of closure.
