Kaswar Ziad Tarek Injured in Car Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- June 3, 2022, Kaswar Ziad Tarek was injured following an accident where two vehicles crashed along Westheimer.

Investigators said that the incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. along Westheimer at Jeanetta.

25-year-old Kaswar Ziad Tarek was in a Lexus car traveling westbound on Westheimer. In a series of events unclear, Tarek's vehicle crashed into the back of a Chrysler van. This resulted in Tarek having incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were confirmed.

I sincerely hope those affected by this crash got more information than the public. People are quick to jump to conclusions when it comes to rear end collision, but for all we know, the Chrysler was disabled without its lights on. Maybe road hazards kept the victim from stopping. Maybe there was a sudden mechanical issue or medical emergency.

I'm certainly not suggesting investigators overlook more common factors, such as fatigue or distraction. I simply have seen too many families get reports that say just about as little as this information does, leaving them with too many unanswered questions. Hopefully this isn't one of those situations.
