Andy Morales Injured in Car Accident in Fort Bend County, TX

Fort Bend County, TX -- December 4, 2022, Andy Morales was injured due to an accident where two vehicles collided.

Authorities said that the incident happened at around 2:11 a.m. along US Highway 59 in the area of Doris Road.

It appears that 61-year-old Andy Morales was in a Chevy Suburban traveling southwest along the highway. While changing lanes, it appears a Honda Accord rear-ended the Suburban, causing Morales to suffer incapacitating injuries. The other driver, a 19-year-old, was not hurt.

Police allege that the Honda driver was intoxicated at the time. They did not confirm other details. A 19-year-old with alcohol is certainly a concerning possibility, and it could warrant consequences beyond that driver alone. When someone underage gets alcohol, it's usually because someone got it for them. Was this just an acquaintance, or is there a local business out there selling to teenagers? I'm sure the entire community would like to hear an answer to that, not to mention the person injured due to the crash. Did authorities ever look into the details further?
