Hezekiah Donaldson Injured in Truck Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- December 16, 2022, Hezekiah Donaldson was injured as the result of an accident involving multiple vehicles.

Authorities said that the incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. along US Highway 67 near Wheatland Road.

Officials identified 61-year-old Hezekiah Donaldson as the driver of a Chrysler traveling northbound on the highway. It appears that a Nissan pickup truck did not control its speed and crashed into Donaldson's vehicle, causing a chain reaction with an 18-wheeler and another commercial truck.

Donaldson had injuries said to be incapacitating while no other injuries were reported. As straight forward as all of this may seem, it's best that folks understand why crashes can be so complex even with details like these.

Put simply, all of these vehicles being involved can create a lot of confusion if authorities aren't giving the crash the attention it deserves. While many officers can handle wrecks like this, it's their departments who rarely prioritize accident reconstruction. That's why important details can slip through the cracks, and it's possibly why I haven't seen much public discussion about this crash. Are authorities working behind the scenes to ensure the victim and their family get answers, or are there important factors that still have yet to be addressed?
