Killeen Teenager Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on I-35 in Bell County, TX

Bell County, TX -- December 3, 2022, a Killeen teenager was injured due to an accident where a vehicle crashed along I-35.

Officials gave information about the crash which they say happened along the northbound lanes of I-35 near mile marker 283 at around 2:47 a.m.

According to initial details, a 19-year-old Killeen woman was in a Toyota Camry traveling northbound along I-35. For reasons unconfirmed, the vehicle lost control, left the roadway, and crashed into a sign base.

The woman sustained injuries said to be incapacitating. It appears no one else was involved. The cause of the crash remains unclear, but there may be some folks out there content to just blame the driver due to their age. While statistically more likely, driver error is not the only possible factor here. Jumping to conclusions is bad enough, but doing so when someone's kid is in need of help is just plain disrespectful.
