Sanjuana Rios Santellano Injured in Car Accident in Round Rock, TX
Round Rock, TX -- June 21, 2022, Sanjuana Rios Santellano was injured due to an accident where two vehicles crashed along University.
Investigators said they were called to the intersection of University Boulevard and Port Hope Street at around 8:00 a.m. It appears that 75-year-old Sanjuan Rios Santellano was in a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan traveling westbound along University Boulevard. Somehow, the Volkswagen crashed into the back of a Nissan Versa.

Due to the collision, Santellano had injuries described as incapacitating. The details said two passengers in Santellano's vehicle may have been hurt, as well. The details released also suggest that the driver of the Nissan was cited for driving without a license.
While I certainly can't say what happened here, it's important others don't go jumping to conclusions. I know folks see someone rear-end a car, and they assume that person is automatically responsible. That's simply a misconception. For example, if someone changes lanes suddenly without using their signal, even the safest of drivers may not be able to avoid a collision.
So while I wouldn't say someone driving without a license is damning evidence, it's one concerning factor which at least warrants some consideration. Especially when someone is hurt, steps should be taken to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks. Why would this crash be any different?
