Two Injured in Car Accident on FM 2769 in Travis County, TX

Travis County, TX -- January 5, 2023, two people were injured due to an accident where a vehicle crashed into a tree off FM 2769.

Right now, initial details are scarce. They say only that two people were in a vehicle traveling along FM 2769 near Cedar Park. The incident happened at around 10:00 p.m.

Somehow, the vehicle ended up off-road where it crashed into a tree. Due to this, one of the victims had to be airlifted from the scene. The other was taken to a hospital via ground ambulance. At this time, no further information is available.

Despite this lack of information, it wouldn't surprise me if people walked away from this thinking, "Okay, so the driver was drunk or on their phone, right?" As common as those factors are, I do my best to remind people that even less likely possible warrant consideration. After all, how would we fix things like manufacturing defects or road hazards if there weren't thorough investigations that kept them from slipping through the cracks? The same could very well prove true here, as well, so it's best to let the evidence speak for itself.
