One Killed in Car Accident on US 183 in Austin, TX

Austin, TX -- December 22, 2022, one was killed as the result of an accident at Balcones Club Drive which may have involved a pedestrian.

Austin, TX Fatal Car Accident Kills 1 on US 183 at Balcones Club

Austin-Travis County EMS said that the incident happened just before 8:00 a.m. off the US 183 service road and Balcones Club Drive. It's unclear exactly what happened, but at least one source describes the incident as a pedestrian accident. EMS said CPR was administered, but the incident was confirmed fatal. The victim has yet to be identified.

Did authorities look further into this? That may sound like a silly question, but folks would be shocked to see how many families have come to me with police reports which were supposedly "closed" but looked just like this--about a paragraph with no real answers. It's one of the reasons I'm always so adamant about the value of independent investigations, and it wouldn't be surprising if the same proved true here, as well.
